2010 Daniel Boone Conservation League Picnic & Youth Fishing
According to DBCL's website, the Daniel Boone Conservation League is a "Members Only Club" established in 1929, located in Richfield, Wisconsin and is dedicated to preserving natural resources. Located only 5 miles west of Highway 45 on Highway 167, the club has over 300 acres of land devoted to nature trails, scout grounds, fishing ponds, and shooting ranges with the purpose of promoting shooting sports. DBCL is also a chapter sponsor who donated a year's membership with waived administration charges.
DBCL is hosting their picnic on Saturday July 31st this year from 12PM to 6PM, and our chapter has been giving the opportunity to promote fishing. We will provide equipment for the kids, have people available to teach the kids during the 1-2 PM and 3-4 PM timeframes, and conduct an additional casting clinic with muskie tackle.
