Committees in the chapter are implemented for larger tasks or tasks that need more input.
There's usually a committee for the banquet as this is a significant effort and our main fund raising event to be able to make an impact in our chapter and the community. The Web Committee gives a few more opinions into the construction and content of the site. Committees are also formed for different durations as necessary for the task at hand.
Many hands make light work, and if you're interested in participating in a committee, please contact any board member or committee member. If you'd like to get involved in the organization, participating in a committee could be that first step you're looking for.
