Milwaukee Chapter Outings
The Milwaukee Chapter is greatful to our sponsors that help fund our ability to host and participate in outings.
Joel Michel is our current Youth Director. Youth outings that we've held include the Brookfield East High School's Outdoors Club teens and Children's Hospital of Wisconsin Spina Bifida group. Our chapter also contributes money towards the Pewaukee Cops and Bobbers program, and a few members participate to pilot the pontoon boats and help kids interact with Pewaukee police officers and chase panfish. We also contribute money towards Fishing has no Boundaries which assists people with disabilities to enjoy fishing.
Joel Michel has also volunteered to lead the reach out to Veterans, and he has been in contact with a few organizations. Joel has mentioned he's considering hosting this event on Okauchee Lake and potentially from the Hideaway for our first annual outing.
In 2008, Roy and Nancy Hinkforth brought back member outings for chapter members to meet as a group for friendly competition. Come join us for a fun time.
